Bohr's Atomic Model

Bohr's Atomic Model's Postulates

• Electrons can revolve only in certain definite orbits around the nucleus. (Each having fixed energy) called K, L, M, N....
• Electrons revolve only in those orbits for which angular momentum is an integral multiple of h/2π.. ie. mvr=nh/2π
• Energy is emitted or absorbed only when an electron jumps from one orbit to another
